ENOUGH!

We live in a society where gluttony is condoned. Everwhere we are told 'More is Good'.  Fast food, fast coffee, get it now, don't wait, hurry hurry, wolf it down.

The whole matrix is imbalanced.  We have to become aware of this all on our own as our projected anxiety and collective unrest emits itself in our surroundings by advertisements, TV and other media.  We even take rest in front of a screen which propgates this same hysteria to further imbed these ideas of 'MORE' within us even on a cellular level.

The idea of 'ENOUGH' has to come from a place deep within where we finally feel full.  This fullness comes not from food, retail items, sexual pleasure, drugs, alcohol or external stimili, but instead from an innate connection made only within ourselves to that of a Divine Power within us.  This Eternal Source of Love and Compassion for ourselves, our fellow travelers and the surrounding network of transitional energy within which we exist, can only be contacted through an awareness and a consciously made separation from that which we see and get inundated with, from that which we feel and know to be real and true on the inside.

This kind of connection takes mindfulness as spoken about in Buddhism, but more so it takes a constant practice, more than just daily, of being and living in a meditative state of awareness.  Grounding or conscious rootedness helps to facilitate the energy of this practice.

There are so many unseen distractions too.  Thoughts during the day are constantly flying around distracting us invisibly.  Not only are we inundated with visuals and audio, but we are also indundated cellularly and through these floating thought forms from everyone around us, on planet and off!

Some people I know, become night owls [myself included] just so that they may be in a more open space intellectually, spirirtually, emotionally & physically.  The mind gets cluttered easily and being 'off grid' is a peaceful way of being.  Cutting chords and energetic strings creates more expansion and space for connection with the Divine and also for creative inspiration to flow toward and into us.  Early morning is very inspiring.  Many ashrams and spiritual centers make this time for focused practice daily.

Clear thought, separate from the clutter of the collective --- jam packed as it is in our over crowded society --- is a treasure chest on a desert island.  We seek refuge and sanctuary at the same time.  To feel nurtured and at the same time peaceful, settled and fed in our hearts is what we truly seek.

To do this, we need time space, and concentrated energy which has been cleared and honored for this purpose alone.  Once practiced, it is often good to open to other energies which can be brought in aligned with this goal.  But the way must be made first.  The road needs to be paved before it is painted.

ENOUGH.  ENOUGH. ENOUGH.  Setting clear boundaries comes from within and setting a light beam of love around us.  We do not need as much as we want.  We do not need as much as we want. We do not need as much as we want. To permeate this idea ---we can repeat it to so it can go inside deeply to all levels of consciousness:::  "I do not need as much as I want ---  I have enough and I am enough."

Enjoy the ride ~*
